The Lower School field on Church Lane now belongs to Riseley

Our Vision is a world where all parks and public spaces are designed to make teenage girls feel valued and included and where everyone feels welcome


We have cut the hedges back.

The grass has been cut a couple of times.

The boundary with the existing playing field has been opened up and we have made a pedestrian entrance on Church Lane and built a 1m wide concrete footpath to connect the playing field and Church Lane. 

We opened on 25 May 2026

This is a shared community space for everyone

Some areas of the field remain rough and uneven

Please enjoy the space safely and responsibly

 

What’s already been achieved has only been possible thanks to the support

from the community

And this is still only the beginning… there’s much more to come.

You can now walk from Church Lane through the Old School Field directly on to the Playing Field.
The old Lower School car park hard standing will only be used as a car park for very special occasions, the rest of the time it will available to you, for playing basket ball and other sports requiring a hard surface.
